I am a Business Systems Developer. I build integrated software systems that use AI to optimise how a company actually operates — so the business keeps running while the team concentrates on growth, stability, and capturing whatever comes next.
Why this work
Nearly every business I meet is being quietly taxed by its own admin. Not by anything dramatic — by the hour a day re-typing an order into a second system, the report that takes a morning to assemble, the enquiry that sat unread over a long weekend.
None of it shows up as a line item. All of it shows up as a ceiling on what the business can serve, and as evenings your team spends on paperwork instead of the work they were hired for.
The way software is built for businesses is changing fast. AI models make it genuinely practical to hand over the repetitive operating load — not as a gimmick bolted on the side, but as the thing quietly running your pipelines, triaging your inbox and keeping your systems honest with each other at three in the morning. That is what I build.
What you get working with me
You are dealing with the person who writes the code. There is no account manager between you and the build, no discovery phase billed by a team of four, and no proposal padded to justify a bigger project than you need.
It also means I am honest about capacity. I take on work I can actually deliver, and I will tell you early if a timeline is not realistic rather than discovering it together later.

- Development time. Weekends are reserved for building. Your message is welcome then — I will answer it on the next business day.

- Remote-first, so location is rarely a constraint. On-site work can be arranged where a project genuinely needs it.
Good to know
Billing and third-party work
Physical networking and IT functions are an additional charge. Work such as on-site cabling, hardware procurement, network installation and similar physical IT functions sits outside the software scope. It may involve third-party vendors. Where it does, those costs are quoted and agreed with you before anything is ordered or scheduled, and are then reflected on the bill.
Scoped before it starts
You get a written scope with a cost against it before work begins. If something changes mid-build, it gets re-quoted and agreed — it does not simply appear on the invoice.
Budget-led, not budget-blind
Tell me the number you have. I will design to it, or tell you plainly that what you want costs more than that — and what the smaller version would give you instead.
