What this site collects, and why.

Who is responsible

What is collected

Only what you type into the contact form. That is your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, organisation size, budget range, area of interest, and the message you write.

Alongside a submission, the server also records the IP address it came from and the time it arrived. That is used for two things only: including it on the notification email so I can tell a real enquiry from a scripted one, and enforcing a rate limit that stops the form being abused. The rate limit stores a one-way hash of the address, not the address itself.

What is not collected

• No analytics of any kind. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps.
• No tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies at all.
• No advertising or remarketing tags.
• No account, no login, no profile.

Standard web server access logs are kept by the hosting provider as a normal part of running a server.

What it is used for

Answering your enquiry. That is the whole purpose. Concretely, a submission sends two emails: one to me containing what you wrote, and one back to you confirming it, so you have a copy of what you sent.

Your details are never sold, rented, shared or added to a marketing list. You will not receive a newsletter you did not ask for, and there is no automated drip sequence behind this form.

Who else sees it

Three parties are involved in the site working at all:

• Hostinger — hosts the site and handles the mailbox that sends and receives these messages.
• Google Fonts — the two typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, so your browser makes a request to them when the page loads. No other external resource is loaded by this site.
• My email provider — your enquiry arrives in a mailbox, as email does.

Nothing from this form goes to an AI model. The systems I build for clients may use AI services, but that is described and agreed in a project proposal, not here.

How long it is kept

• Enquiry emails: kept while there is any prospect of working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards as a business record. If nothing comes of it, it is deleted.
• Rate-limit records: hashed, and expire within hours.
• Client project data: governed by the agreement signed for that project, not by this page.

Your rights

Email me and ask. You can request a copy of what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. I will do it, and I will confirm when it is done. There is no form to fill in and no verification hoop — if you sent the enquiry, you can ask about it.

Depending on where you live, you may have formal rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. The practical answer is the same either way: ask, and it happens.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. The contact form validates and length-limits everything on the server rather than trusting the browser, blocks header injection, and rate-limits by address. Mailbox credentials are kept out of the published code and out of version control.

No system is perfect. If you find a security problem with this site, please email me — I will take it seriously and I will thank you for it.

Children

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. No data is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, which is rather the point.
